The Space
This charming flat consists of a cosy living room with a wall equipped for cooking your meals, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a spacious shower.
In the living room, antique pink dominates the scene, evoking the warm Venetian light and the romantic charm of the city; the bedroom is draped in shades of blue, recalling the deep waters of the lagoon, the mystery and the infinite sky that embraces Venice; finally, the bathroom is tinged with a delicate, restful green, a tribute to the tranquil hidden gardens and lush vegetable gardens that lie beyond the walls of Venetian residences.
The colours, together with Rubelli’s fine silks, velvets, upholstery and evocative lighting, are a deliberate integration that aims to capture the essence of Venice – its light, spirit and atmosphere – and transfer it to the interior, to give guests a version of Venice that is both familiar and surprisingly new. A few steps from Palazzo Grassi, the magnificent Campo Santo Stefano and its elegant and lively bars and restaurants serving typical Venetian cuisine, this flat is located in a strategic area as it is close to the San Samuele boat stop and to the Sant’Angelo boat stop where the airport line arrives.

Nearby there is no shortage of grocery shops, supermarket, pharmacy as well as art, Venetian handicraft and fashion shops in the Calle de le Botteghe, full of really interesting, non-tourist shop windows.

The entire flat is at your disposal
Upon your arrival you will be asked for your valid identity documents, the payment of the city tax for the Municipality of Venice (4 euros per person per night for the first 5 nights) and the signing of the short rental contract, which we will be happy to send you before your arrival.
A holiday spent in a flat is an immersive travel experience and, even if only for a few days, it will make you feel like a citizen of Venice but you will not have the typical hotel services.

As there is no concierge service, checkin times are from 13:00 to 19:30; with an arrival between 20:00 and 22:30 there is an extra charge of 50€ to be paid in cash upon arrival. Between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. checkin is not guaranteed, but subject to availability, with a surcharge of 65€; after midnight checkin is impossible. Check-out is at 10 a.m. (to allow for cleaning and preparations for the next guests). The host’s availability is guaranteed from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm.

The Space
Bright and quiet, Casa Cali consists of a living room with a kitchen-dining area and a relaxation-study area, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two twin bedrooms, a large and comfortable bathroom with shower and finally the splendid roof terrace.

The location is strategic, in a quiet and well-serviced area of the Cannaregio Sestiere, a 5-minute walk from the boat embarkations to every destination in the city and the lagoon.
Nearby: the Ca’ d’Oro, the Rialto bridge and the market. A pharmacy, supermarket and numerous restaurants, shops and bars are close at hand.

This flat in Campo dei Carmini within the Palazzo Moro is a true jewel of design conceived and detailed by the Milanese architect and interior designer Corrado Anselmi in 2000. The two geometric volumes in the hand-shaved lime walls are sculptures that emanate light in neon white glass made in a Murano glassworks, like the shelf/counter that separates the kitchen space. The 1960s green marble hallway with small squares is by designer Mongiardino. The steel sink in the small bathroom is a cult piece from the 1980s by designer Philip Starck.
The shaded gold panel in the back bedroom has cupboards that do not interrupt the sculptural effect with closed cupboards. The typically Venetian terrazzo floors date back to the first half of the 19th century. The small chandelier in the bathroom of the room is from the 1950s made by master glassmaker Archimede Seguso. The African ebony chair in the living room space is a classic by the Scottish architect-designer Mackintosh. In the corridor with small geometric squares created by the architect Mongiardino in the 1960s and set in contrast/dialogue with the Venetian floor, a vertical panel from the ‘I Terrestri’ series by the famous Venetian painter Ida Barbarigo (1920-2017) is leaning against the wall; the oil painting in the living room as part of the ‘Le seggiole’ series (1968), exhibited at the Biennale, is also hers.

The area is very picturesque because it is still authentic; a few steps away are the church of San Lorenzo and the church of San Giorgio dei Greci. In a ten-minute walk you are already in St. Mark’s Square and in about twenty minutes you reach the Biennale; in just three minutes you can visit the most incredible bookshop in the world, the Libreria Acqua Alta, and with a six-minute walk you are in the magnificent Campo Santi Giovanni Paolo with its majestic Basilica and the statue of Colleoni.

The boat stop is only ten minutes away.
