On the first floor of a charming, futurist-style 1930s industrial building, recently restored and renovated to energy class A+, Casa Melissa is ideal for two people who want a functional, cozy retreat where they can stay, work or study in peace and quiet, and from which they can move nimbly to explore the city and the lagoon.

Bright and quiet, in a contemporary style softened by the panoramic ribbon windows and the warm oak ceilings and floors, Casa Melissa consists of a living room equipped with a kitchen-dining area and a relaxation-study area, a double bedroom with a large wardrobe closet, and a large, comfortable bathroom with shower. The condo garden can be used for reading a book in peace

It’s situated in a strategic location, in a quiet and easily accessible area of the Cannaregio Sestiere, an 5-minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station and boat embarkations to every destination in the city and the lagoon.
Nearby: the Church and Ponte degli Scalzi, the Faculty of Economics, The Faculty of Architecture, Savorgnan Park, Papadopoli Garden, Basilica dei Frari and Scuola Grande di San Rocco. Pharmacy, supermarket and numerous restaurants, stores and bars are within easy reach.

For this apartment, in accordance with WHO’s recommendations, we adopt effective procedures for an accurate cleaning of all surfaces and fabric materials.

Please remember that on your arrival I will have to ask you for the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Venice, your valid identity documents, and the signature of the rental contract as required by law.
Check-in is between 1.00 pm and 7.30 pm. After this time and no later than 10.00 pm it is subject to availability, I will have to ask you for an extra 50 euros. If you plan to arrive before 1.00 pm, you can drop the luggage off in the apartment from 10.30 am but you must leave enough time for cleaning.
You will stay in a unique city that has its own rules (the rubbish collection in particular and I will explain it to you on arrival) and you will live for a few days like a real Venetian with Venetian neighbors. I ask you to follow the same rules as you do in your own city when you are not on holiday. Thank you.

Like a secret treasure, our cozy apartment with a private courtyard is the perfect place to live your incredible Venetian experience
It is located in the vibrant Dorsoduro district full of typical coffee shops, restaurants, unique views and it consists of one double bedroom, one single room, living room with equipped kitchen area, bathroom with shower, and a cute private furnished courtyard for your relaxation.
The apartment is a few meters away from San Basilio boat stop in one of the few higher areas of Venice where even the extremest high tides “acqua alta” has absolutely no effect and it is close to grocery stores and a well-stocked supermarket
Each season has its own special attraction. On cold winter days, you`ll be happy about the underfloor heating. We will arrange for you to be welcomed by a cozy and warm floor!
The area is truly unique with the extraordinary Venetian allure, perfect for long walks, aperitifs, and dinner in typical restaurants.
If you are lucky, you will meet ducks’ families walking around the “fondamenta” of the surrounding canals.
Unforgettable is the path along the Zattere that leads to the Punta della Dogana, from which you can admire the Giudecca Canal.

Ca’ Malvasia is located in one of the most exclusive areas of this district San Marco, few steps far from Campo Santo Stefano with its beautiful bars and restaurants.
It will be your secret place, hidden in a small courtyard with private entrance and private access from a typical Venetian canal.
The house comfortably accommodates five people and it is on two levels: at the ground floor there are fully equipped kitchen, living room overlooking the garden where you can have your meal or a relaxing aperitif and one of the two bathrooms (with shower); the second floor is reserved for the sleeping area with the master bedroom, double bedroom, single bedroom with a delightful studio and bathroom with bathtub.
The excellent location is perfect for seesighting the city as you can easily reach on foot the most interesting sites such as Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Grassi, the Accademia Galleries with its precious treasures, the Rialto Bridge, the interesting Palazzo Fortuny and last but not least the enchanting tiny streets that always reserve amazing surprises.
The cozy atmosphere of this house will enchant you and you will fall in love with this lovely place.
In short, the perfect place to fully experience Venice.
Few steps away there is the Santa Maria del Giglio boat stop, our meeting point, where Alilaguna line orange from the airport stops and where line 1 boat from railway station stops too.
Nearby there is a well-stocked supermarket, the pharmacy and excellent restaurants. I will be happy to suggest some tips at check-in.
